Yasmin Jones
Osteopathy
I registered with the General Osteopathic Council in 2017, graduating from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. I was drawn to this particular programme for its strong naturopathic foundation—reflecting a core tenet of osteopathy: the body functions as an integrated whole. True health, in my view, requires us to consider not only the physical body but also our surroundings and how we nourish our bodies and minds. I am privileged to support individuals from all walks of life and to collaborate with a diverse network of healthcare professionals, with whom I regularly discuss cases.
I have specialised in osteopathy for babies and children, earning a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy through the Osteopathic Centre for Children—a renowned charity dedicated to supporting this population and their mothers. During my time there, I developed skills in cranial osteopathy, a gentle and subtle approach well-suited to infants, whose bodies often require only the lightest encouragement to find a more comfortable and balanced state. This work naturally deepened my interest in caring for pre- and postnatal mothers, too. I have since worked as a clinic tutor at the charity and I currently hold a tutoring role at the Health Sciences University (London) in their general osteopathic clinic.
